Where we build

Timbergrove and Lazybrook

Leafy mid-century neighborhoods along White Oak Bayou, just northwest of The Heights.

The neighborhood

Timbergrove and Lazybrook grew up in the 1950s and 1960s, and their wide streets and big trees still give them a relaxed, green feel.

Many of the original ranch homes sit on generous lots, which makes these neighborhoods a natural fit for new homes with room for a garden or a pool.

White Oak Bayou and its trail run along the southern edge, and parks such as West 11th Street Park offer wooded walks close to home. The shops and restaurants of The Heights are a few minutes away.

Parts of the area are close to the bayou, so we check flood maps and elevation requirements carefully for every lot.

Why build here

What we love about Timbergrove and Lazybrook

  • Larger lots than much of the inner loop
  • Quiet streets with mature trees
  • Close to The Heights and the bayou trails
